J.Vincent BIDEAU

After graduating in vine growing and marketing studies in Bordeaux, I worked in Saint Emilion were I learned the exigency of tradition in the wine making process. Later on, in Val de Loire region, I learned the art of blending grape varieties and the complexity of wine making.

I developed my marketing and operational management skills working with Thunevin in Saint Emilion, then at Château Des Laurets in Puisseguin Saint Emilion.

With Château Petit Boyer’s team we created a wide range of wines. Each wine has a distinguished taste allowing to satisfy the consumer and to vary the delights of wine tasting! An efficient commercial network has been set up in France. The business of the winery gradually moved from bulk wine to bottled wines. Since 2003 the entire production is sold in bottle. The capital generated enabled us to acquire high quality soils and the vineyard increased from 12 to 33 ha in 2006.

At 33 years old, I received the “Best young winegrower, for Bordeaux Region” award from the Young Wine Talents 2006. The jury included M. Faure Brac (world’s best sommelier 1991) ; M. Maurange (journalist at la Revue des vins de France) and Madame Huet (oenologist and journalist). This was a great tribute to my 10 years of hard work and my award winning wines.
