THE GRAND TRAIL OF THE PETIT BOYER

Château Petit Boyer opens the gates of its vineyard!

Visitors can discover the exclusive 33ha of vines that surround the family estate. They will learn the most important aspect of the production of a great wine: the culture of the vine.
The Grand trail of Petit Boyer is an unique and playful route for kids and adults, with games, quiz, and riddles …
Two routes are offered, the longest (duration from 1hour to 1hour30) and the short one (30 to 45 minutes)

Rates :

  • Adults : 4 euros
  • Children : 2 euros
  • under 6 years old : free of charge

Hours :

  • July and August : from Monday to Saturday, from 1:30pm to 7pm
  • the rest of the year : from Monday to Friday, from 1:30pm to 5:30pm

Petit Boyer Vintages

DSCF0687Each year Petit Boyer welcomes you to discover its new and old vintages.

During this special day you will have the pleasure to taste the Primeur and the newly vinified wines. It is also the opportunity to savour 10 vintages of all our wines. In order to train your tasting skills we will organize a game of flavours identification.

At lunch time, you will taste some of our wines paired with delicious dishes prepared by our Chef.

The afternoon is the opportunity to discover sports related activities such as Paint Ball, archery,…

Cottage

Our cottage is located in the village of Cars near Blaye, the cottage has an amazing view on our vineyard and it has a large (400m2) beautiful garden.
Our cottage can accommodate 4 to 6 people. Large rooms with a surface of 100 m2.
On the ground floor you have the kitchen (equipped with microwave, fridge, dishwasher and a washing machine), the dining room, the living room (equipped with TV, DVD player and two sofa bed), the toilette and the bathroom. On the first floor you will find two rooms with a view on the vineyard.

We are located 10 minutes away from the motorway exit 38 direction Paris and exit 40a direction Bordeaux.

Beginning of June till end of September

Due to hygiene factor we do not accept pets in our cottage. If this condition is not fulfilled by you, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and forbid the access to the cottage. We will not re-fund the booking fee.
The full payment is due at the time of booking or we require 20% of the total booking as a deposit, the balance should be paid at the arrival.
Payment by check should be mad to: EARL BIDEAU and send to Chateau Petit Boyer Lieu dit La Pistolette 33390 CARS.

The weekly renting period is from Saturday to Saturday.

The check- in is from 4 pm and the check-out is from 10 am.

The rate includes all bills and taxes.

Extra cover is 30 Euro

Cleaning during you stay is 60 Euro

Direction to get to the cottage

From Bordeaux

From motorway A10, take the excite 40a Blaye, Saintes, Rayon and then take the exit Blaye to D137.
When you arrive to a big roundabout take the direction Saintes, Rayon, Saint Paul de Blaye on your right.
After 2 km you will see the Chateau Petit Boyer on your left hand side. Carry on and turn left at d22 direction Blaye.
Continue for 1 km, (drive through the village des Bernards). At the end of the village you will find the supermarket Carrefour, take the right at d137 e 1. Drive for 30 meters and you will see the cottage on your left.

From Paris

From motorway A10, take the exit 38, then direction Balye and Etauliers. When you reach Etauliers continue straight (direction Blaye).
Once you reached the village Pontet. At the roundabout take the direction Bordeaux (D137). After driving for 6 km you will reach Lieu dit la pistolette.
Turn right and take the direction Balye via D22. Drive through the village des Bernards, at the end of the village you will see a supermarket (Carrefour), turn right at d137e 1. Drive for 30 meters and you will see the cottage on your left.
